  • Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.

About the Role:

As a Charge Nurse at Arbrook Plaza, you will play a critical role in delivering compassionate and high-quality nursing care to our residents. Your primary focus will be to support the health and well-being of patients by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote recovery and comfort. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy, ensuring that each resident's needs and preferences are respected and met with dignity. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact the quality of life and health outcomes of the individuals entrusted to our care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or RN license in the state of Texas.
  • Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform nursing duties in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a nursing home or rehabilitation facility.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Training in geriatric nursing or chronic disease management.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages relevant to the resident population.
