Job summary

Brentwood Campus of Care in Dallas is seeking a friendly Registered Nurse to render nursing care within the scope of practice, in accordance with physician orders, center policies and local guidelines.

You will follow established procedures for charting, narcotic counting, and incident reporting, while documenting changes in patient conditions and coordinating with the care team to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow charting and incident reporting procedures.
• Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Document any changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, weight loss, or other noticeable changes.
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of patient room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.
