Job summary

Pine Tree Lodge Nursing Center is seeking a Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) to lead care teams, administer medications, and implement care plans for residents. The role emphasizes consistent attendance, teamwork, and adherence to policies and physician orders.

You will collaborate across shifts, document care accurately, and educate staff on nursing procedures while maintaining safety and infection control standards. A sign-on bonus is available for a limited period.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Nursing Aides to ensure resident care

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join our growing team! Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
