Responsibilities:

• Guide Nurse Aides in providing appropriate resident care.
• Administer resident medication properly.
• Implement resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician's orders.
• Perform treatments as required.
• Accurately transcribe physician orders promptly.
• Document residents' charts timely and accurately. Complete nursing assessments as needed.
• Participate in shift reports.
• Follow established nursing policies and procedures; educate support staff on residents' care needs.
• Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Address staffing shortages by arranging for replacements.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse or Licensed/Vocational Nurse in good standing.
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to organize workflow, respond to emergencies, and pay attention to detail.
