Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse—LVN or RN—to lead resident care on our day-to-day operations. You will supervise nurse aides, administer medications, and ensure care plans are implemented with accuracy and compassion.

In this role you’ll coordinate treatments, transcribe orders, document care, and participate in shift reports while maintaining safety standards and infection control. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Experience in clinical nursing and documentation.
• Ability to supervise nurse aides and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments as required for resident health.
• Transcribe Orders accurately and promptly.
• Document Resident Care and complete nursing assessments.
• Collaborate on Shift Reports for continuity of care.
• Educate Support Staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards and infection control compliance.
• Address Staffing Needs by arranging replacement staff.

Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

In This Role, You Will

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
