Cantex is seeking a Charge Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide direct patient care and lead nursing teams in a long-term care setting. You will supervise CNAs, coordinate care plans, administer medications, and ensure compliance with physician orders and licensure requirements.

You will document care activities in EMR, mentor staff, promote patient safety, and drive quality outcomes through clinical oversight. Strong English communication and supervisory experience in healthcare are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Observe, assess, document, and report patient conditions.
• Maintain EMR documentation related to patient assessments and nursing care activities.
• Consult with RNs and Nurse Managers regarding changes in patient condition.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physician orders.
• Implement care plans and administer medications and treatments.
• Supervise CNAs and monitor delivery of patient care services.
• Document and report incidents per policies.
• Lead and coach staff, and support performance management.
• Coordinate availability of equipment and supplies used in care delivery.
• Notify physicians and responsible parties of significant changes in patient condition.
• Maintain quality assurance logs and ensure proper operation of clinical equipment.
