The Rehabilitation Center of Independence in Missouri is seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN) for the night shift (7p–7a) to lead nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting, supervise CNAs, and coordinate daily clinical operations. This role emphasizes resident safety, dignity, and quality of life, with strong communication among residents, families, physicians, and the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri LPN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Assign resident care duties and coordinate daily workflow.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and maintain compliance with Missouri state regulations.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.
