The Rehabilitation Center of Independence is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse (LPN) to deliver compassionate care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. You will supervise CNAs, coordinate daily operations, and support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license in Missouri
• CPR/BLS certification required
• 1–2 years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a SNF/LTC setting
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies

Charge Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies

• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition

• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Assign resident care duties and coordinate daily workflow

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers

• Complete accurate nursing documentation and maintain compliance with Missouri state regulations

• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life

Charge Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:
