Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time work at Shoreland Healthcare Center in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will hold a current NC LPN license, be willing to serve as charge nurse as needed, and provide high-quality geriatric nursing care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include directing nursing services on the unit, delegating tasks, observing patients for changes, and notifying physicians of emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and license renewal every other year.
• Willing to work as charge nurses, and work as needed during emergencies to assure adequate coverage.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsabilités

• Direct nursing services on unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observe patients for signs of adverse change and report to physician as needed.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and update orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
