Job summary

MissionCare at Holyoke is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to oversee medication administration, treatments, and daily living support for residents on our unit. You will lead CNAs, coordinate care with the RN Supervisor, and ensure high-quality resident care in a busy nursing environment.

A MA nursing license and EMR experience are preferred. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for status-hour positions and opportunities for growth within the facility.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered MA nursing license.
• Minimum one year of acute or long-term care in a skilled nursing facility.
• Rehabilitation or behavioral health experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication administration and treatments for residents.
• Assists with activities of daily living for facility residents.
• Coordinates, assigns, and prioritizes work of CNAs on the unit.
• Documents changes in patient condition and reports incidents.
