Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LPN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community. In this role, you’ll oversee nursing services during assigned shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism, compassion, and compliance with state, federal, and Americare standards.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services, administration and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies and procedures.
• Supervise nursing staff including LPNs, CNAs and CMAs.
• Complete resident assessments, care plans and clinical documentation as needed.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are met.
• Address and report incidents, accidents and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect.
• Ensure supplies, equipment and medications are available and communicated to leadership.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety.
