Job summary

The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg is seeking a Charge Nurse/LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nurse aides. This part-time supervisory role on the 2nd and 3rd shifts reports to the Director of Nursing and includes performing med passes and monitoring resident conditions.

Qualifications

• GPN or LPN program graduate required.
• Minimum one year of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all prescribed med passes during shift according to orders.
• Provides nursing care to the residents and supervises the day to day operations of nurse assistants.
• Reports all accidents/incidents and changes in a residents condition observed on shift.
• This is a supervisory position that reports to the Director of Nursing.
