Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unencumbered Ohio RN or LPN license.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• One year of clinical experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care or hospital settings preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs per standards.
• Coordinate nursing services to ensure continuity of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Represent the nursing department in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.
• Notify physicians and families of changes in resident condition.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as needed.
• Assist Unit Manager to reduce hospital readmissions.
• Attend meetings and participate in training as scheduled.
