Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse to lead nursing care, basing decisions on theoretical concepts and standards of practice. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care to optimize outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure), a nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN), and relevant certifications such as BLS and others based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications as required by unit (e.g., BLS, ACLS/ENPC/NRP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per standards of practice.
• Serve as Charge RN to oversee shifts and mentor team.
• Maintain patient safety and quality care across units.
