Job summary

PAM Health is hiring an RN Charge Nurse to coordinate nursing care and lead a clinical team on the unit. The role works with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain high nursing standards.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in the state of employment, current BLS, and ACLS certification (ACLS required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, ICU). A minimum of one year med-surg experience is preferred, with CCU and critical care exposure valued.

Qualifications

• RN License in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments preferred
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care in collaboration with Nursing Leadership
• Provide leadership by working with medical, ancillary, and support staff
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff
• Maintain standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting
