Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, is seeking a Charge Nurse WOW for weekend-only, nights. This part-time role (24 hours weekly) offers an entry-level leadership opportunity with premium pay and a sign-on bonus eligibility for experienced external applicants.

Qualified candidates will hold an ASN or higher, Indiana RN license, and current BLS. NR P, ACLS, STABLE, and neonatal certification within specified timelines are required, with one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

ASN or higher nursing degree.
Current Indiana or compact RN license.
BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
NRP certification required (within 6 months of hire).
ACLS certification required (within 6 months of hire).
STABLE certification required (within 12 months of hire).
Low Risk Neonatal Nursing RNC-LRN required (within 12 months of hire).
One year of nursing experience required; experience in area of specialty preferred.
Professional/Specialty certification required per unit standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate care on designated shifts and provide leadership to staff.
Provide direct patient care while assessing staffing needs and fluctuations during shifts.
Respond to departmental concerns and coordinate patient flow.
Oversee employees on shift and ensure alignment with unit standards.
