Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Charge Nurse for the General Medicine unit to lead a 26-bed team, coordinate staff scheduling, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to rehabilitation nursing standards.

Qualified candidates will have 2–4 years of progressive nursing experience, NC/GA licensure, and CPR certification; CRRN is preferred. This is an on-site position in Winston-Salem, NC within Ardmore East.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse by GA or NC.
• Current CPR certification.
• CRRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Unit management and safe, quality patient care.
• Prepare shift assignments based on staff education and patient acuity.
• Monitor unit activities and ensure timely, neat execution of tasks.
• Collaborate with leadership to adjust staffing for safe operations.
• Supervise and delegate patient care; notify physicians as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety and rehabilitation standards.
• Attend nursing management and PI meetings; participate in education sessions.
