Job summary

Fisher-Titus in Norwalk, OH is seeking a Staff Nurse-Charge Emergency Department for a full-time 7a-7p rotation. The role leads the ED team, ensures high-quality patient care, and coordinates shift activities across inpatient areas with an emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Minimum requirements include an accredited nursing degree, BLS, and RN licensure; 2 years of medical/surgical or ICU experience are preferred, with ACLS and PALS possibly required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Nursing.
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of Medical/Surgical and/or ICU experience preferred
• CPR certification required
• ACLS/PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift activities as Charge Nurse following hospital policies.
• Assist staff and other providers and act as a clinical resource.
• Communicate effectively with team and managers.
• Lead huddles and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
• Ensure safe patient care across medical/surgical, ICU and pediatric units.
