Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a dedicated nurse to coordinate quality care from birth through the lifecycle during your shift, providing clinical assistance as needed when census demands. You will communicate patient care needs and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s) and serve as a resource for guidance to the team.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure with NLC/eNCL, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and related certifications.

Qualifications

• RN - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• ACLS Certification Required
• PALS Certification Required
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification - prior to independent chemotherapy administration (Infusion/Oncology) Required
• NRP by the end of orientation period Required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months of start date Required
• PEARS Certification Required
• PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients Required
• ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients Required
• ACLS and PALS Certification within 6 months for Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty Required
• PEDIATRICS: PALS required at Piedmont Columbus Hospital; PEARS required within 180 days at Piedmont Athens Hospital

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle during shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
