Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee daily nursing activities at the facility. The role requires an active RN license (Montana or compact state) and the ability to work with the health team to maintain high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, ensure compliance with federal and state standards, and maintain confidentiality of patient information while promoting professionalism and teamwork within the unit.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate thorough understanding of nursing principles, practices and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively to establish working relationships with the Health Team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients, physicians and staff.
• Be able to function as Charge Nurse, Medication Nurse, and/or Emergency Room Nurse as needed.
• Delegate and coordinate nursing work to RN, LPN, and auxiliary staff.
• Ensure punctuality, ongoing education, and adherence to policies and procedures.
