Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA, seeks an RN for a Third Shift supervisory role within the Surgical department. The position requires a BSN (or if not yet obtained, to be completed by 2019) and a Virginia RN license with 5 years of acute care nursing experience. BLS is mandatory; specialty certification is preferred.

This role oversees nursing staff and maintains high standards of patient care. The successful candidate will mentor team members, coordinate shift activities, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• RN license required in Virginia or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• BSN required or must be obtained by 12/31/2019.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare/nursing experience in a acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; specialty certification preferred.
