Job summary

Advanced Surgery O'Connor is seeking an ASC Charge Nurse to oversee the day-to-day operations of our surgery center in San Jose, CA. The role includes managing procedure scheduling, staff coordination, inventory control, credentialing, and risk management to ensure high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will have a nursing degree, an active RN license, current BLS, and ACLS certification (preferred) along with ASPAN membership (preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification certification.
• ASPAN membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the surgery center, including scheduling of procedures and staff.
• Oversee inventory, HR, credentialing, safety, QA/QI, and risk management.
• Assist with marketing and overall operational improvements.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Managing day-to-day operations of the surgery center. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, scheduling and managing staff, inventory control, human resources, staff credentialing, preventive maintenance and safety, assistance with marketing, QA/QI, and risk management.

REQUIREMENTS:
