Advocate Health’s Aurora Psychiatric Hospital - Behavioral Health unit is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for 40 hours weekly evening shifts. The role requires a BSN, active RN license, and BLS certification. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, monitoring patients, documenting in EHRs, and ensuring safety and quality care.

Telehealth or cross-unit duties may occur as needed. Candidates should be prepared to work 1500-2330 on a rotating schedule within Weeks 1 and 2, and must

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• BLS certification required; psychiatric certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively and delegate as appropriate.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certifications.
