Denver Springs, a Lifepoint Health facility in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 96-bed behavioral health hospital. The role focuses on direct patient care, nursing leadership on the unit, and collaborative multidisciplinary treatment planning within a psychiatric and substance abuse setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Colorado or compact RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), BLS mandatory with ACLS/PALS and Handle with Care within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Colorado license or Compact State RN license.
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited school.
• BSN preferred; associates required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care preferred and must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to ill or injured persons with direct patient care.
• Coordinate and deliver general and psychiatric nursing care for patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric disorders.
• Oversee observation, delegation, and leadership of unit staff and patients.
• Collaborate with multisisciplinary team to support care philosophy and program goals.
• Ensure patient safety and advocate for patients at all times.
• Follow medical orders and participate in treatment planning.
