Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group (Mountain Management Services) is seeking a detail-oriented Charge Entry Clerk to manage daily demographics and charge entry. You will input client data accurately, resolve entry issues, and communicate with management to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include registering new patients in the practice management system, manual data entry of charges, processing encounters, organizing paper charge tickets, maintaining billing paperwork, and performing charge

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 1–3 years of healthcare billing experience.

• Manual data entry of charges performed outside of the electronic health record.
• Process encounters held in the work queue or task lists.
• Organize paper charge tickets for coding staff.
• Maintain billing and coding paperwork, including scanning necessary paperwork as required.
• Perform charge reconciliation as assigned.
