Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA seeks a Medical Billing Clerk to support the billing process and be available to physicians and staff for billing questions. You will help ensure charges are entered, reviewed, and processed in a timely manner.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Working under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager and Lead Biller, will share the responsibilities of being accessible to physicians and staff regarding billing questions; assures that all billing functions are completed in a timely fashion and develops billing goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, entering, reviewing and modifying daily charges; queue work. Knowledge of modifiers, ICD-10 and CPT codes required.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of medical billing experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
• Competency with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
