Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in North Dallas, TX is seeking an organized, fiscally responsible Financial Coordinator to join our team. You will have primary responsibility for charge capture and other billing-related activities across the hospital.

You will audit patient records and invoices for charge accuracy, verify charges on open invoices, and educate staff on charge entry protocols. You may coordinate payment plans and manage accounts receivable while liaising with providers.

Qualifications

• Audit patient records/charts with invoices to ensure charge accuracy.
• Verify charges on open invoices and correct as needed.
• Review bloodwork and radiographs to ensure charges are captured.
• Coordinate and maintain payment plans; collect AR when needed.

Responsibilities

• Audit patient records/charts with invoices for charge accuracy.
• Verify charges on open inpatient invoices and correct as needed.
• Review bloodwork and radiographs to ensure appropriate charge capture.
• Educate hospital associates on charge entry protocols.
• Process associate billing as needed.
• Handle collection of accounts receivable including payment plans.
• Serve as liaison to credit providers and donation/rescue orgs.
