Qualifications

• Experience in charge capture and hospital billing processes.
• Ability to audit patient charts and invoices for accuracy.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable functions and payment plans.

Responsibilities

• Audit patient records/charts with invoices to ensure charge accuracy.
• Verify charges on open invoices of hospitalized patients and correct as needed.
• Review bloodwork and radiographs to ensure charge capture aligns with care.
• Provide clients with billing updates and explanations.
• Educate staff on charge entry protocols.
• Process associate billing when required.
• Handle collections of accounts receivable and maintenance of payment plans.
• Liaise with credit providers, collection agencies, and donation/rescue orgs.
