The role emphasizes reliable attendance, multitasking, and collaboration with care staff to deliver safe, compassionate services. You will supervise Nurse Aides, administer medications, execute care plans, document assessments, and participate in shift reports to maintain seamless care continuity.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN license in good standing is required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to organize workflows and coordinate care across teams.
• Responds quickly and effectively to emergencies and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer Medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans per policy, guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document Resident Care and complete nursing assessments timely.
• Collaborate during shift reports for continuity of care.
• Educate Support Staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards through infection control and body mechanics.
• Address Staffing Needs by arranging for replacements when needed.

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Charge Nurse to join our growing team! Your Impact as a Charge Nurse

In This Role, You Will

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.

• Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing
