Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) to lead nursing teams in our Texas facility. This full-time role requires strong clinical skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to coordinate care plans and medication administration for residents.

The Charge Nurse will train and supervise nurse aides, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain compliance with policies and regulations while promoting resident well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN in good standing required.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to organize workflows.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Administer Medications: safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: execute plans per company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: deliver treatments to support resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: maintain timely, accurate documentation in charts and nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: participate in shift reports for seamless communication.
• Educate Support Staff: teach policies and procedures to staff on resident care needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: ensure infection control and safe body mechanics procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: arrange replacements during shortages.

In This Role, You Will
