Job summary

Dreem Health, America’s leading digital sleep clinic, seeks a Charge Analysis Associate to manage the front end of the claim lifecycle. You will perform daily charge audits, ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS coding, and submit clean claims via Apero, collaborating with the billing team to minimize denials and ensure timely payments.

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, you will stay current with coding updates and payer policies while supporting colleagues on recurring coding or

Qualifications

• Three+ years experience in medical billing and coding.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and claim submission workflows.
• Experience with clearinghouse rejection handling and denial management.
• Experience with Apero or similar clearinghouse software preferred.
• Sleep Medicine or DME billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily charge audits and ensure CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS coding accuracy.
• Verify charges align with payer-specific rules and medical necessity before submission.
• Identify and correct coding discrepancies before claims go out.
• Submit clean claims daily through the clearinghouse.
• Monitor rejection queues and resolve rejections promptly to avoid timely filing issues.
• Correct and resubmit rejected claims through to acceptance.
• Stay current on coding updates and payer policy changes.
• Collaborate with Medical Billing Associates and Team Lead on recurring patterns.
