Hawksmoor New York is seeking a passionate Charcoal Grill Chef to lead and work the charcoal grill, crafting high-quality meats, seafood and vegetables for guests. You’ll join a energetic kitchen team, uphold Hawksmoor’s standards and ensure timely food prep.

You will handle knives, operate kitchen equipment, and follow recipes to meet presentation guidelines. The role requires strong teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Experience working with charcoal grills to produce consistent quality.
• Ability to work quickly in a high-volume kitchen while maintaining standards.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation per HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate the charcoal grill and manage grill line to ensure quality.
• Prepare meats, seafood and vegetables to Hawksmoor standards.
• Coordinate orders with kitchen staff for timely plating.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and safety practices.
• Label and rotate ingredients, adhere to FIFO.
• Meet guest dietary requests while upholding quality.
