A leading organization is seeking a Chapter Engagement Manager to act as the primary liaison between its chapters and the National Office. The role involves supporting chapters in governance, programming, and membership retention, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with Society staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with a background in governance or customer-facing roles. This position follows a hybrid work structure, primarily based in New York City, with some travel required.
The Chapter Engagement Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the Society’s chapters and the Society’s National Office, providing support to chapters and coordinating with colleagues in the National Office in the following key areas:
This position reports directly to the President & CEO but will work closely with other Society leaders and staff.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate high levels of oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, be collaborative, well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and a self-starter. They should exhibit discretion, tact, poise, and possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan work activities effectively and meet tight deadlines. A team-oriented attitude with a positive approach to challenges and opportunities is essential. The candidate should be able to appropriately represent the Society and the President & CEO to Chapters, Society members, and the public.

We follow a hybrid work structure. The position reports to the CEO and involves significant interaction with Society staff. The expectation is to work on-site in our New York City office four days a week, with consideration for remote arrangements in appropriate circumstances. Some travel within the U.S. to support National or chapter activities is required.
