• Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry and 5 years of ministry experience.
• Experience with the public, including addiction, mental illness, and criminal justice populations.
• Public speaking and teaching ability.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and maintain a non-judgement attitude.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and motivation.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience supervising volunteers.
• Criminal background check clearance.
• Valid NV Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Pass TSA Fleet Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Direct weekly chapel services and coordinate volunteers.
• Lead Bible study groups for beneficiaries.
• Engage Corps Officers to connect campus activities.
• Conduct spiritual assessments and growth plans.
• Coordinate participation in Corps activities and retreats.
• Conduct advanced spiritual growth classes and Bible studies.
• Provide spiritual counsel to TSA staff.
• Record and report data for chaplaincy programs.
• Visit clients who are hospitalized or incarcerated.
• Maintain regular office hours in Day Resource Center and Family Services.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
