Job summary

Responsibilities include crisis support, ethical decision making, and collaboration with the healthcare team; Candidates should have ACPE CPE, and a divinity/religion background. Per Diem schedule varies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Divinity, Theology, Religion, or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Divinity, Theology, Religion, or related field preferred.
• One ACPE Certified CPE unit required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people to move through immediate and emerging crises/trauma.
• Assist others in meaning-making during crises and spiritual journeys; facilitate theological reflection.
• Provide and document interventions and follow-up with chaplains/disciplines as appropriate.
• Offer holistic spiritual care addressing spiritual, emotional, and social needs of patients, families and health care team.
• Assist in ethical decision making, incl. Advance Care Planning, per ERDs.
