Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living seeks a dedicated spiritual leader to provide ministerial services to residents, develop faith-based programs, and counsel residents in life crises. The role collaborates with Pastoral Ministries to nurture a supportive faith community and aligns with organizational values of growth and well-being for seniors.

Minimum 5 years in pastoral ministry with ordination preferred; strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential to foster leadership

• Minimum 5 years pastoral ministry experience; senior care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as spiritual leader and be proactive in availability.
• Minister to residents with non-clergy spiritual needs and coordinate services.
• Provide spiritual counsel during residents' life crises.
• Develop and coordinate ministry programs with approval from leadership.
• Establish and support resident faith councils for leadership and representation.
• Promote self-sufficiency of faith communities and steward funds.
• Collaborate with Pastoral Ministries Manager to assess quality of life in the community.
• Serve on the Interfaith Council representing the faith community.

Location:

Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living

COMPENSATION:

• Starting at $28/hr with a 30 hour a week schedule.
• Benefits Eligible (Medical, Dental Vision and 401K with 3% Match).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as a spiritual leader to any resident seeking such service and is proactive in demonstrating this availability.
• Ministers to the specific residents by providing those services required by a non-clergy person and those services preferred from a clergy person
• Meets, as part of the Pastoral Ministries effort, residents in their life crisis points and provides spiritual counsel.
• Develops and coordinates ministry programs for the specific resident faith community, with approval of the Pastoral Ministries Manager or designee, and Director of Resident Life.
• Establishes and coordinates continuance of resident faith Council for the specific faith community. The purpose of this council is to provide resident leadership and a representation for the specific faith community. Works to educate and bring understanding of spiritual matters to the resident faith Council
• Endeavors to make the specific faith community self-supporting financially and provides responsible stewardship of faith community funds.
• Assesses with the Pastoral Ministries Manager on an ongoing basis, the quality of life environment in the community to determine the short and long-term direction of the ministry program.
• Serves as a member of the Interfaith Council representing the specific faith community.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
