Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a CHAP Instructor Advanced Practitioner Provider (0.50 FTE) for Anchorage. This part-time role focuses on classroom and clinical primary care training for Community Health Aides and Practitioners (CHA/P) at ANMC and affiliated clinics.

The role entails developing training materials, maintaining records, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure high standards of care across Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and licensure.
• Two+ years mid-level health provider experience in primary care or equivalent.
• Certification in ANCC (for NPs) or NCCPA (for PA-Cs) required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers classroom and clinical primary care training for CHA/P.
• Provides health care for patients at ANMC and allied clinics.
• Develops training contents and updated materials for CHA programs.
• Maintains records and evaluates student progress.
• Participates in continuing education and program development.
