Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a part-time CHA/P trainer to deliver classroom and clinical training for Community Health Aides and Practitioners across Alaska. The role supports the Alaska Native Medical Center and allied clinics to maintain high-level primary care skills and consistent care standards.

Under supervision, you will develop and facilitate training, update materials, and ensure training aligns with statewide CHAP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Two years mid-level health provider experience.
• ANCC or NCCPA certification required.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations across Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Delivers CHA/P training across Alaska using adult learning concepts and clinical facilitation.
• Maintains CHAP standards and reports value to the organization.
• Updates and revises training materials and schedules as objectives change.
• Provides primary health care within scope of authority as needed.
• Collaborates with ANMC physicians and staff to coordinate care and training.
