The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Channel Partnership professional who is relentless in pursuing new opportunities, has a knack for identifying potential clients, and can manage strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter with a track record of exceeding sales targets, a passion for building lasting relationships, and a deep understanding of Enterprise-level organizations and data-driven decision-making in Energy, Commodities, or financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure partnerships with enterprise organizations to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute robust sales and partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, tailored presentations, and negotiations, ensuring seamless onboarding and partner satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to craft customized solutions that meet partner needs and align with Climavision’s proprietary technology.
  • Partner with clients to deliver decision support, risk mitigation, and enhanced forecasting solutions tailored to the energy, commodities, and financial markets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to refine partnership strategies and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that foster long-term collaboration.
  • Track and report partnership performance metrics using CRM tools, such as Salesforce, identifying areas for growth and optimization.
  • Serve as a customer advocate, providing valuable feedback to internal teams to drive innovation and product enhancements.
  • Ensure high levels of client retention and post-sales satisfaction through proactive account management and support.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA or related Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including success in selling SaaS solutions, required. Experience selling tolarge enterprises and fostering strategic channel partnerships, a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering strategic partnerships within energy, commodities, or financial trading markets, a firmrequirement. Extra credit for experience in climate and weather risk solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven expertise in data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and revenue management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with location intelligence or geospatial data applications, a plus.
  • Experience selling market data, analytics, or similar services to large clients and through strategic partnerships.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • This is a full-time, exempt position.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 – 160,000 base pay + a commission incentive plan. This range reflects a broad spectrum to account for varying costs of living across different geographic locations, as well as individual factors such as education, experience, relevant skills, and expertise. When extending an offer, Climavision carefully considers these factors, along with the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and alignment with current market data.
