Title: Channel & Alliances Director – BSS/Billing / Telco

Location: UK or Continental Europe: Remote

Role info: Our client is a leading provider of BSS solutions, specializing in monetization, assurance, and customer management for telecoms, virtual network operators, and IoT service providers. We are looking to recruit a Channel and Alliances Director to lead sales growth through channel partners and strategic alliances, particularly focusing on telecommunications carriers (tier 2, 3, MVNO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development: Build and manage strategic partnerships with system integrators, software vendors (ISVs), and other channel partners. This includes negotiating agreements, managing relationships, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive the company's indirect sales strategies by working closely with channel partners to expand the market presence. You will need to meet sales targets, establish go-to-market strategies, and coordinate sales activities with partners.
  • Alliance Management: Oversee the formation and execution of alliances with key players in the industry, such as telco vendors and technology partners. Collaborate on joint product offerings, marketing initiatives, and sales campaigns.
  • Market Strategy: Understand the BSS landscape and identify opportunities to position the company’s solutions within partner ecosystems. This includes developing channel marketing programs, training partners, and increasing partner engagement to ensure the company's solutions are a priority in partner offerings.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales performance, market trends, and partner productivity. Regularly report on the progress of channel partners and adjust strategies based on performance insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Telecom/BSS: Experience in the telecommunications sector, particularly in BSS/OSS solutions, is essential.
  • Sales and Business Development Expertise: Proven track record in growing revenue through channel and alliance networks.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of BSS solutions and how they integrate with broader telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally, manage partner relationships, and lead teams to achieve sales and strategic goals.
