Job summary

Legends Global is currently seeking a part-time Changeover Laborer for Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Concord, NC. The role involves heavy lifting and assisting with event setup, conversion tasks, cleaning, and basic maintenance under supervision.

Candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, work irregular hours including nights and weekends, and have strong customer-service skills. Prior operations or facilities experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Operations worker experience is preferred.
• Forklift, aerial work platform, scissor lift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and conversion for events, including tables, chairs, walls, barricades, stages and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks, transport trash/recycling, replenish supplies.
• Carry out light maintenance such as painting and patching.
• Report any irregularities, damage or safety concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Use appropriate equipment to clean and maintain the facility.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Position: Changeover Laborer

Reports To: Conversion Manager

FLSA Status: Part-Time Hourly

OVERVIEW

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for part-time Changeover Laborer at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. Under general supervision, performs work as needed to clean, maintain, and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical activity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform all aspects of the setup and conversion process in preparation for events. Duties may include setting up and removing tables, chairs, operable walls, barricades, stages, flooring, furnishings, and equipment.

• Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. These include but are not limited to loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and recycling to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies.

• Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting, and patching.

• Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, and loss of property and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.

• Ability to use appropriate equipment and supplies to clean and maintain the facility.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Meet the physical demand of the job, must perform strenuous physical duties at times, including lifting, carrying, moving, and climbing.

• Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
