Oak View Group is seeking a Changeover Crew member for the Casper venue. This per-event role handles room setups and arena conversions, ensuring seamless transitions between events. You may also assist with general building maintenance and related tasks, delivering a positive, professional presence for promoters and clients.

Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00, with benefits for part-time roles including a 401(k) plan and matching. The position remains open through December 31, 2026.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events.
• Setting up and tearing down flooring, chairs, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings.
• Responding to promoters'/clients' needs as directed.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Perform duties to ensure day-to-day operations, including loading/unloading trucks, transporting trash, and replenishing supplies.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power equipment.

Position Summary

The Changeover Crew is a per-event employee who works specifically in the areas of room setups and arena conversions at the venue. The position is primarily responsible for the changeover in the venue from one event to another. Additionally, a member of the Changeover Crew may be involved in other aspects of building maintenance, including painting, trash disposal, exterior facility care, snow removal, furniture moving, etc. The Changeover Crew is a vital component of the venue in responding to the needs of promoters and clients. A positive attitude and a positive appearance are essential.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00 - $18.00.

About The Venue

Formerly the Casper Events Center, the venue was renamed to the Ford Wyoming Center in January 2021. The Center is a 28,000-square-foot multi-purpose facility, built high on a hill overlooking the city of Casper, Casper Mountain, and the scenic Platte River Valley. Funded entirely by the City’s portion of an optional 1% sales tax, the venue opened on April 17, 1982. The arena features a horseshoe-shaped seating bowl with 8,000 seats. The Ford Wyoming Center hosts a variety of different events each year, including concerts, sporting events, family shows, trade shows, competitions, religious services, bull riding competitions, commencement ceremonies, lectures, and political rallies, among other corporate and community events. The arena is host to the Wyoming High School Basketball, Volleyball, and Wrestling Tournaments; the Wyoming High School Art Symposium; the Wyoming High School Marching Band Competition; and the Wyoming High School Spirit and Cheer Competition. The venue has been home of the College National Finals Rodeo each June since 2001.

Responsibilities

• Actively care for all equipment and property by storing, cleaning, and maintaining changeover equipment.
• Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management.
• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events.
• Setting up and tearing down flooring, chairs, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment.
• Responding to promoters'/clients' needs as directed.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met, including, but not limited to, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to the proper disposal area, and replenishing supplies
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power equipment as needed.
• Assist, when necessary, with pre/post-event cleaning, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, and carpet cleaning
• Maintain outside grounds, including parking areas, the garage, entrances, and the event plaza.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as painting, patching, and other conversion-related operational equipment
• Follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments, clients, and patrons encountered in the course of employment.
• Works effectively under pressure and stringent schedules to produce accurate results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with event changeovers is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
• Must be able to work effectively under tight deadlines driven by event schedules and project timelines.
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions accurately while communicating clearly and effectively.
• Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power equipment is preferred.
