Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an OCM Lead within the Finance domain to drive Power User adoption, coordinate training, and mitigate risks across the project lifecycle. You will translate BA specs into clear SPLs and training materials, using Scribe in English and Spanish, while maintaining structured dashboards to monitor SPL progress.

The role requires travel (50–75%), collaboration with BAs/POs, and strong stakeholder management to ensure seamless adoption of SAP S/4HANA finance processes

  • Willingness to travel 50%–75% and US visa for Mexico-based roles.
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA in Finance domain.
  • Experience in training delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organizational and dashboard tracking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the OCM representative within Finance, driving user adoption and mitigating risks.
  • Identify opportunities where OCM services add value in the domain.
  • Upskill domain knowledge and deliver hands-on training at plants; maintain training resources.
  • Liaise between stakeholders, Power Users, and the OCM team; gather feedback and risks.
  • Translate knowledge into training docs and SPLs using Scribe in English and Spanish.
  • Maintain training dashboards tracking SPLs and training progress.
  • Collaborate with change management areas to deliver timely information.
  • Support adoption aligned with organizational goals.
  • Keep up to date with system enhancements with BAs and POs.
  • Travel up to 50–75% in NA; max 2 consecutive weeks.

Job description

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the OCM representative within the Finance business domain, driving Power User adoption strategies and mitigating risks throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities where Organizational Change Management (OCM) services such as Business Transformation, Training, Process Mapping, and Communications can add value to your domain.
  • Upskill on domain knowledge and deliver hands‑on training at different plants and facilities for deployments, responsible for keeping training resources updated and organized.
  • Act as the primary liaison between domain stakeholders, Power Users, and the OCM team, gathering process‑related feedback, requirements, and identifying risks.
  • Translate domain knowledge and BA specifications into clear, compelling training documentation and Single Point Lessons (SPLs) using Scribe in English and Spanish (framework training provided during onboarding).
  • Maintain, organize, and track training deliverables through structured dashboards (monitoring total vs. completed SPLs per sprint).
  • Collaborate with different change management functional areas to deliver accurate and timely information.
  • Share insights and recommendations to support smooth adoption of changes and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts (BAs) and Product Owners (POs) to keep up to date on system enhancements and changes impacting users.
  • NOTE: This role requires travel to different plant locations in North America: 50–75% (maximum of 2 consecutive weeks per trip).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Organizational Development, Finance/Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Travel & Visa Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel 50%–75% (maximum of 2 consecutive weeks per trip).
    • For Mexico-Based Roles: Valid Passport and US Visa are required for occasional US travel.
  • Working knowledge or hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA within the assigned business domain.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, process improvement, training delivery, or project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple streams of information and deliverable dashboards.

  • Target Business Domain: Finance
  • Target SAP S/4HANA Module(s): SAP FICO (Required). Working knowledge of Finance dependencies/integrations with MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution) is a strong plus.

  • FAGLL03H (GL Line Item Display)
  • VA03 (Display Sales Order) and associated Document Flow activities
  • MB51 (Material Document List) and associated Document Flow activities
  • End‑to‑End financial analysis, reconciliation, and cross‑functional document flow troubleshooting.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile Preference:
    • Business / Operational Background (Plant Controlling / Finance Business Partnering).
    • Strong preference for someone who deeply understands plant financial operations and business concerns; teaching the system is easier than teaching plant finance dynamics.
    • Should be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders – local and global teams
    • Looking for skill in root‑cause analysis, troubleshooting, and understanding End‑to‑End (E2E) financial process flows.
  • Skills That Make You Successful
    • Subject matter expert / working knowledge in the aligned SAP S/4HANA domain area to minimize the onboarding curve.
    • Training experience & knowledge of adult learning principles for plant and operational environments.
    • Documentation skills & instructional design experience (adhering to branding guidelines and generating high‑quality resources in Scribe).
    • Ability to track execution and maintain clear dashboards (tracking SPL requirements, training delivery, and risk escalation).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Analytical and problem‑solving ability to identify patterns, operational risks, and adoption roadblocks early in the project lifecycle.
    • Stakeholder management – skilled at building relationships, asking the right questions, and extracting actionable insights from Power Users.
    • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, multi‑site project environments and adapting to shifting priorities.
    • Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Passion for user experience, human‑centered training design, and simplifying complex concepts through storytelling.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short‑term incentives. The compensation range for this full‑time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
