Job summary

NextStep Recruiting partners with a consumer financial services organization to identify a hands-on Change Manager in Plano, TX. This contract-to-hire role focuses on leading technology delivery and Agile transformation initiatives, helping teams adopt new processes, tools, and ways of working.

This position is ideal for a practitioner who builds trust, communicates change practically, identifies resistance, and drives adoption rather than just planning it.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting organizational change, technology transformation, process improvement, or Agile transformation initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience driving change adoption, including stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, communications, and feedback.
• Confident presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to lead discussions and handle questions from employees and leadership.
• Experience measuring adoption, identifying resistance or change risks, and adjusting the approach based on stakeholder feedback.
• Highly organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, and change activities in an evolving environment.

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a consumer financial services organization to identify a Change Manager in Plano, TX. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting technology delivery and Agile transformation initiatives, with a focus on helping teams successfully adopt new processes, tools, and ways of working.

This position is ideal for a hands-on change professional who wants to stay close to the people impacted by transformation. The right candidate can build trust quickly, communicate change in practical terms, identify resistance, and independently drive adoption rather than simply creating a change strategy and handing it off.

Required:

• Experience supporting organizational change, technology transformation, process improvement, or Agile transformation initiatives


• Strong hands-on experience driving change adoption, including stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, communications, and feedback


• Confident presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to lead discussions and handle questions from employees and leadership


• Experience measuring adoption, identifying resistance or change risks, and adjusting the approach based on stakeholder feedback


• Highly organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, and change activities in an evolving environment

Preferred:

• Experience supporting change within Technology, Product, Engineering, or software delivery organizations


• Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices, including Scrum and Kanban


• Experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking, reporting, documentation, or change coordination


• Background developing adoption metrics, dashboards, surveys, or other change-health reporting


• Prosci, Change Management, Scrum, or similar professional certification
