Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a release management professional to support production changes, assess risks, and coordinate complex troubleshooting for clients. You will assist in defining release policies, planning large elevations, and ensuring traceability and security throughout the release lifecycle.

The role supports packaging, testing, documentation, and distribution with cross-functional coordination. A hybrid work model is described, with emphasis on collaboration and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for managing and elevating production changes, evaluating risk, impact & conflict.
• Provide technical support for elevation activities and troubleshoot complex client issues.
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and utilizing release policies and procedures for configuration and implementation of new releases.
• Support packaging, testing, documentation, and distribution life cycle with planning activities for large/high-risk elevations.
• Review performance for adherence to customer requirements and coordinate test/acceptance environments.
• Monitor integration testing activities and act as point of contact for change tasks and resources.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job description

Core Responsibilities

1. 1. Provides support for managing and elevating production changes, evaluating associated risk, impact & conflict. Supports team in determining optimal schedule to implement production changes.


2. 2. Provides technical support for elevation activities and/or works complex trouble shooting issues for clients. Completes a technical post certification for production elevations.


3. 3. Supports the creation, maintenance, and utilization of policies and procedures for the configuration and implementation of new releases. Assesses requirements for future build outs.


4. 4. Supports the packaging, testing, documentation, and distribution life cycle. Completes planning activities in coordination with stakeholders to effectively plan large and high risk elevations. Ensures releases are traceable, secure, tested and authorized.


5. 5. Reviews functional and operational performance for adherence to customer requirements. Supports team in planning and overseeing the implementation of software and related hardware for test and acceptance environments. Supports the communication of release expectations across all impacted users.


6. 6. Monitors integration testing activities throughout each phase of release processes. Monitors task queues and acts as a point of contact for issues or actions related to change tasks, workflows and resource allocation.


7. 7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
