Position Summary
The change analyst supports the success of university initiatives by assessing, analyzing, and helping manage the impact of organizational change. This role partners with stakeholders across academic and administrative units to conduct impact assessments, design tailored communication and engagement strategies, track readiness, and provide data-driven insights that minimize disruption and enable adoption. By working closely with change managers, business analysts, and project managers, the change analyst ensures that cultural, technological, and process changes are clearly understood, effectively communicated, and successfully implemented. The level of the position (I, II, III , or Senior) reflects the scope of work, years of experience required, and level of autonomy in performing tasks.

Central Michigan University is engaged in a multi-year enterprise resource planning ( ERP ) transformation initiative. This provisional position has been established to support the successful implementation of the selected ERP solution and related business process improvements, either through direct participation in project activities or by providing operational coverage for employees dedicated to the implementation effort.
