Job summary

Challenger Sports seeks an Academy Soccer Coach to deliver sessions for youth players within a 1-hour radius of Lancaster, CA, including Quartz Hill and Palmdale. You’ll follow our Challenger curriculum and coach across age groups from 5 to 12, evenings and weekends.

You’ll plan sessions, use Challenger software for online plans, and adapt to weather. Must have soccer coaching experience, be comfortable with children, have transport, and authorization to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• Experience in soccer coaching, particularly ball mastery, is desirable.
• Must be comfortable working with children of all ages.
• Must have experience working with children.
• Position requires your own transport.
• Must have work authorization to work in the USA.

Academy Coach Role

Staff members will deliver soccer sessions to a variety of age groups, teams & players whilst following a set Challenger curriculum. This role will mainly involve.

• Coaching daily/weekly sessions to players of a variety of ages (5-12 year olds).
• Session plans: use Challenger software to provide online session plan
• Scheduling: follow your schedule & be adaptable for any changes based on incremental weather

Experience within Soccer coaching, particularly coaching ball mastery is desirable.

Compensation

$25-$35 gross per hour, based on qualifications & experience.

Location

Field sessions can be anywhere within a 1hr radius of your home. The main sessions will be held in Lancaster, Quartz Hill and Palmdale.

Times

The sessions will be in the evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Must be comfortable working with children of all age groups.

Must have experience working with children.

The position requires your own transport.

Must have work authorization to work in the USA.
