Saint Joseph’s University seeks an Associate Professor/Professor and Chair, Physical Therapy, within the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. This full-time, tenure-track role carries a secondary appointment as Department Chair with reduced teaching expectations and will require leadership in curriculum, advising, assessment, and fiscal management.

The candidate should possess a doctoral CAPTE degree, extensive higher education experience, and a strong scholarly agenda with a focus on

Competenze

• Doctoral degree required as defined by CAPTE.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience with neurologic patients.
• Minimum six years of full-time higher education experience with at least 3 years as core faculty in a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Licensed physical therapist with PA license in good standing.
• Experience in administration, leadership, and educational impact.

Mansioni

• Contribute to neurologic-related curriculum and other courses as needed.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback per course requirements.
• Deliver course materials, labs, and assessments.
• Coordinate course needs with chair and staff; serve as academic advisor.
• Lead program curricula planning, evaluation, and revision with faculty; maintain active research agenda.
