UC Irvine's School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences seeks a Chairperson to lead the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice. Qualifications

• PharmD, Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and licensed to practice in California or eligible for licensure.
• Preferred qualifications include prior academic administration experience and a track record of extramural funding.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for teaching, research, clinical and service missions of the department.
• Lead long-range planning, budgeting, academic programs, personnel, and fundraising.
• Coordinate faculty reviews, mentoring, recruitment and retention.
• Represent the department at the school and campus level.
