Job summary

Parking Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Shuttle Driver at Chattanooga Metro Airport in Chattanooga, TN. The role provides friendly, prompt service to travelers between the airport and parking lots and includes weekend shifts.

You will inspect shuttles, follow routes, assist with baggage, and ensure safety and courtesy on every trip. A clean driving record and background check are required; CDL or driver’s license as needed.

Qualifications

• Be able to work any shift of the week.
• Lift up to fifty pounds.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• 1 year of previous experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to pass a background screening.
• Valid Driver’s License or CDL rated licensed as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the shuttle at the start of the shift for damage and safety.
• Follow the assigned route and stops.
• Operate wheelchair lift when needed.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with baggage.
• Operate the shuttle in compliance with traffic laws.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow the uniform policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Part-Time Shuttle Driver

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Additional weekday shuttle shifts may become available based on operational needs
• Must be flexible and willing to cover additional shuttle shifts when needed

Overview

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing a friendly, courteous and prompt service to customers desiring transportation to and from the Airport and the parking lots.

Key Responsibilities

• At the beginning of the shift, inspect the assigned shuttle according to the shuttle check list. Check for damage, all equipment working, fuel, cleanliness, fluids, general safety, etc.
• Follow the assigned route and make each and every stop at the appropriate location.
• Operate wheelchair lift when needed.
• Follow all radio usage procedures. Greet each customer in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with their baggage.
• Operate shuttle in a manner that complies with all applicable traffic laws.
• Refrain from initiating and engaging in conversations with passengers that may be interpreted as demeaning, confrontational, or abusive in nature.
• Do no perform any passenger pickups or drop offs outside of the airport property or that is not on the assigned route.
• Drivers will limit their interaction with customers off the premises of the Airport to common courtesies.
• Maintain a professional appearance. All employees will be expected to abide by the uniform policy.
• Drive with utmost care, operating the customer’s vehicle safely and cautiously.
• Other duties as assigned
